Double donuts to Jam
you have
1kg flour
350 g sugar
350 g lard (replaceable whole or in part with margarine )
1 package yeast
4 eggs
vanilla (can be replaced with 1 or 2 packets of vanilla )
2 lemons : the zest ( I make 1 lemon and 1 orange )
procedure
Mix quickly and in the order : eggs , sugar , lemon, vanilla, melted margarine or lard, baking powder and flour. You get a pastry type dough a little softer . Roll out with a rolling pin . With stencils make the big and small shapes and make the hole on smaller forms . Bake at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes . When you are lukewarm , with a teaspoon , put some jam on the center of the great forms , place over the small shapes and sprinkle with plenty of icing sugar .
