Meraviglias (chiacchere)
you have
500 g flour 00
1 glass of brandy Filu Ferru
1 glass of Vernaccia di Oristano
50g caster sugar
50 g of lard
salt
powdered sugar or bitter honey
grated lemon rind
extra virgin olive oil
procedure
In a bowl, work the flour , lard , sugar , Vernaccia and brandy until you have a smooth paste. Let stand and stretch the pastry high of about ¼ cm and cut with the wheel in small strips, make a cut lengthwise. Fry in hot oil , let them drain and ungetele with melted honey in a water bath and mixed with lemon zest. Dust with icing sugar and serve warm.
