The
Ethnographic Museum is located INSIDE tHIS a spacious and stable characteristic of the '700, complete with "husk", a partially covered courtyard where there were the activities of the family home.
Extensively renovated and well with the surroundings more 'ancient town of
sant'Antioco, namely in the area of ??underground Punic necropolis, is proposed for a visit to discover the most typical and traditional customs and traditions of this ancient community.
The exhibition of the museum runs on two main areas, one of the so-called magasinu, large and covered, the other is the large courtyard, typical construction of
Sulcis.
The indoor environment takes the classic medau sulcitano, where it guarded the tools to perform various jobs.
Striking and extremely significant is the dairy section, complete with all the necessary utensils for milk collection and processing on the cheese.
Here is a testimony to the particular vocation cereal sulcitana, with the section of tools for agricultural purposes, while the section devoted to the work of the vine, which includes the necessary tools to pruning, to pesticide treatment, the grape harvest and the various phases of vinification attests even then pronounced tendency towards care for the vine and wine production.

In the months of July and August you can visit the Ethnographic Museum, the Village Hypogeum, Forte Savoy one day a week from 9.00 to 24.00 with a guided tour organized by Archeotur.
Admission is free for the disabled, for children under the age of six years, for scholars authorized by the Archaeological and / or by the City Council, for carers of sightseeing and for teachers accompanying school trips, for local school groups (institutions and schools located in the municipality of Sant).
